Enjoy the Outdoors!

The Glendale FWA Campground leased to and operated by the Daviess Martin Joint County Parks & Recreation Department. The 120 site campground hosts 67 electric sites and 53 non-electric sites and is immersed into the midst of the Glendale Fish and Wildlife property which maintains over 8,000 acres of land for hunting and 1,400 acres of prime fishing waters. Featuring the 1,000 acre Dogwood Lake, this facility is a prime location for hunters and anglers.

The campground is open year round, however all the amenities such as the shower house and potable water are only available between April 15th and November 30th. Winter rates are only $15.00/night for electric sites and $10/night for non-electric.  Summer rates are $23/night for electric and $16/night for non-electric. Payment can be made at our campground office which is the first camper you see as you pull into the campground or you can drop off your money in the drop box which is located at the kiosk as you first pull into the campground. We do not take reservations and the sites are first come first serve. Our office also acts as a small campstore where you can find ice, firewood, redworms, beemoth, nightcrawlers, and catfish bait.

  • Activities are present on most weekends throughout the spring, summer, and autumn. The Daviess Martin Joint Parks Department will have programming staff on site to provide activities for our youth and we invite everyone to enjoy the special holidays such as July 4th and Halloween through campsite decorations!
  • Dogwood Lake is one of the most popular fishing destinations in southern Indiana. There is a wonderful opportunity to catch a limit of nice crappie, bass, catfish, and a large mess of big bluegills. After spending the day on the lake, come back to your level campsite to relax, cook some magnificent food over the flame, and share stories with family and friends.
  • There are over 8,000 acres of dry land that is home to a variety of game species. This property is dotted with a variety of food plots for dove, turkey, deer, waterfowl, rabbit, squirrel, and provides great opportunities for the annual autumn put and take pheasant hunts. Special regulations are in place for hunting all IN Fish and Wildlife properties and for more information on hunting regulations on this property, please visit the INDNR website at https://in.gov/dnr/fishwild/3095.htm
